Sobre Carlos
Over 30 years in the water, with a passion for bodyboarding that is as strong as ever!
I am a certified Surf Instructor and Lifeguard Instructor, as well as an experienced marine biologist, with over 30 years of regular experience in bodyboarding and surfing.
Throughout this journey, I have had the opportunity to explore and ride some of the world’s most iconic waves, from Portugal and the Canary Islands to Hawaii, Fiji, Indonesia and Mexico. These experiences have given me not only a deep understanding of waves, ocean conditions and ocean safety, but also a genuine passion for sharing the ocean with others.
My goal is to help every student progress at their own pace, build confidence, improve their technique and, above all, learn to enjoy the ocean safely. Whether you are taking your first steps in bodyboarding/surfing, or looking to refine your skills and make the most of the waves, lessons are adapted to your individual level and goals.
My goal is simple: help you progress, build confidence and fall even more in love with bodyboarding/surfing!

Learn to surf or bodyboard, build confidence and enjoy the ocean!
In my Surf and Bodyboard lessons, the goal is to help you learn in a safe, fun and engaging environment, adapted to your level and personal goals. We work on the essential skills of each discipline — balance, positioning, paddling, wave entry, wave reading, technique and ocean safety — always at your own pace.
Whether it’s your first experience with surfing or bodyboarding, I will guide you step by step, helping you build confidence and enjoy the experience from your very first lesson. If you already have some experience, we can focus on specific aspects of your technique, improve your wave reading and help you get the most out of every session.
More than simply teaching you how to catch waves, I want to help you understand the ocean, progress with confidence and discover the true pleasure of surfing / bodyboarding.
Each surfing lesson takes about 1:30h, including briefing., warm up, surfing technique, and surfing with close assistance.
