By nature, I am a happy and bubbly person, with a passion for teaching. I was born in South Africa, but now hold British citizenship. My interests are gardening, listening to music and fishing. We moved to Portugal as we prefer the quiet rural lifestyle, wish to integrate with the people around us, learn the Portuguese culture and naturally, learn to speak Portuguese and not expect the people around us to have to speak English.

My teaching methods are to have good interaction, make learning fun and ensure any students feel they are achieving their aims and feel pride at what they achieve. The use of pictures/flashcards, toys and prompts is essential. Be it in small groups or a one to one class, asking questions is important and a vital part of learning. 1st lesson free.
