Teresa is a lovely, bubbly, talkative and enthusiastic student. A lot has happened in Teresa's professional life since starting our classes and I hope that our sessions together will be useful for her future career, in Portugal or abroad!

Alexandre has been taking conversational English classes with me for a few months now to improve his vocabulary and fluency. He always brings interesting things to class to discuss.
I can confidently say that Alexandre's speaking has improved, although I would like to work more closely on grammar correction in the future!

Emily has a lovely, calm personality and is always focused during classes unless her dog does something he shouldn't in the background!
I have enjoyed helping Emily to gain confidence in speaking. She is a good student and I can tell that her confidence has improved since the start of our classes. I hope to see Emily again in 2022!

Inês started university this Autumn and one of her modules in the future will be in English!
Inês has good communication skills but feels that a lot of vocabulary is unfamiliar to her. We're working on grammar points, vocabulary and conversation to help Inês improve her skills.
Even with all the coursework, group projects and studies Inês still has time to come to classes and study English.
Well done Inês, you're doing really well :)

Carina started her English classes over four months ago, looking to improve her skills across all areas. I'm proud of Carina's improvement despite the fact that some longer pauses may have effected her progress. I hope that in the future Carina will feel confident enough to talk to native English speakers within her family and use her English to travel.

Bruno came to me looking for English classes based around Business and conversation as he had recently moved abroad and felt some difficulty adapting to speaking in English. Bruno and I have been having classes for just over a year and the plan is to continue improving in the future!

Leonor wrote to me asking for classes to help her boost her English for her new job which requires her to communicate more in English.
We have been working on Leonor's communication skills and I can definitely see that she's more confident in her speech! In the future I'd like to work more closely on grammar errors and help Leonor even more with her vocabulary!

Filipa contacted me as she wanted to apply for jobs in other countries and felt she needed to gain more confidence for interviews.
After three months of classes together, working on interview skills, conversation and vocabulary activities, I was ecstatic to hear that Filipa was accepted for an internal position abroad!

After over two months of conversational classes, I can tell that Felipe feels more confident to communicate in English.

Duarte and I have been having conversational classes and within the last couple of months, I have also been giving classes to his daughter on separate occasions, with other language focus points.
Duarte is great to talk to and I can definitely tell a difference in his confidence when speaking English.
I hope that soon we can change our class focus to help Duarte improve his other English skills that are equally as important as speaking!

Sara sent me a message to have English classes to increase her vocabulary and feel more comfortable with English.
Until now we have based our classes on discussion topics but I hope to include Vocabulary building material in our next classes.
We have temporarily stopped having our classes due to working commitments.
I hope to restart our classes soon!

Daniela is a joy to talk to and teach! I'm working closely with Daniela to improve the English skills that are fundamental for her new job. Right now, we're focusing on verb tenses and her accuracy when speaking. In the future I think it would be a good idea to look at writing and vocabulary skills, necessary for spoken and written communication with colleagues and clients.

It's been very entertaining sharing our experiences of moving from different countries to Portugal and adapting to life here.

I enjoyed talking to Raquel and her daughter Mariana, and getting to know their situation better. We shared our ideas and thoughts of what would best suit Mariana's needs in the near future

I've been giving classes to Pedro's 7 year old twins to keep them occupied during their summer holidays.
It hasn't been easy, but I can see them using the language more and more as time goes on. We do a mixture of activities using books, songs and games, including suggestions from the parents to keep them from getting bored.
Well done twins!

Brigida is very capable of maintaining a fluent conversation but lacks in some sentence and verb structures.
I hope to give her the right practise she needs to get her where she needs to be!

Nuno presented his goals and learning objectives very clearly from our very first lesson.
We have been focusing on a mixture of grammar practise, sentence structure and corrections.
Nuno has an incredibly busy schedule, nevertheless we are able to work around it and Nuno is still able to put in the time and effort to study on his own.

I really enjoyed getting to know Karine and her son Daniel. I hope to help 11 year old Daniel improve his English and keep him occupied over the summer!

Grazielle is determined to improve her English and become an independent speaker. So far we have worked on reading, understanding texts and improving pronunciation.
We use a mixture of Portuguese and English in our classes and hopefully when Grazielle's confidence grows, we'll start speaking only in English.

Whenever Patrícia has any questions or isn't sure about something, she doesn't hesitate to ask for help.

Nuno and I had a very pleasant introductory class. It was interesting to talk about our past experiences and future goals based around what we are currently doing in our professional lives.
