Sobre Rodrigo
I’m a 24-year-old Portuguese tutor with a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Lisbon (ISCSP) and a C1 level of English. For the past year, I’ve worked as a Customer Support Advisor in the International Department at AXA Partners Portugal, where I communicate in English with people from different countries every day.
One of my biggest passions is travelling. I’ve already visited 14 countries, and these experiences have taught me how powerful language is in connecting people from different cultures. This international mindset helps me create engaging and practical lessons that prepare students for real-life situations.
I believe learning English shouldn’t be stressful. My goal is to make every lesson friendly, interactive, and adapted to your personal goals. Whether you want to improve your speaking skills, prepare for work, travel with confidence, or simply become more fluent, I’ll help you achieve your objectives step by step.
As a native Portuguese speaker, I also understand the common challenges Portuguese learners face when learning English and can explain concepts clearly whenever needed.

My teaching methodology is based on practical communication, confidence, and personalization. I believe the best way to learn English is by using it in real-life situations rather than simply memorizing grammar rules.
Every lesson is tailored to the student’s goals, level, and interests. Whether you want to improve your conversational English, prepare for travel, succeed in job interviews, communicate more effectively at work, or simply gain confidence speaking English, I will create lessons that suit your needs.
As a C1 English speaker with a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of Lisbon and professional experience in the International Department of AXA Partners Portugal, I use English daily in an international environment. This allows me to teach practical English that students can immediately apply in everyday life and professional settings.
My lessons combine conversation, vocabulary building, pronunciation, grammar explained in a simple way, and interactive exercises. I always encourage students to speak as much as possible in a relaxed and supportive environment where making mistakes is part of the learning process.
I teach teenagers and adults of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. As a native Portuguese speaker, I can also provide explanations in Portuguese whenever necessary, making the learning process easier for Portuguese-speaking students.
