Sobre Ben
Eu sou graduado em Línguas Modernas (Alemão e Português), e dou aulas desde 2013. A minha especialização com Alemão e Inglês é principalmente ajuda com conversa, mas também tenho muito experiência com gramática e vocabulário profissional.

I am a graduate of Modern Languages (German and Portuguese) and have been teaching for five years. My specialisation in both languages is conversational practice, which is a great way to build confidence and get to grips with the language. I've taught children and adults in Germany and the UK, and I'm fluent in both English and German to native standard.

Every student is different so in the first lesson what we'll discuss is your targets and goals for English/German and make sure that you feel comfortable with what we're doing. Teaching is about getting the right level and making sure that the student's goals are met.
I also believe that the key to all language is through conversation. Language is primarily something to be spoken and heard, so it's crucial that speaking is prioritised as a whole. If you get lessons from me, I'll make sure that every week you come away feeling more confident than you did before, and having learnt many new things during each lesson.
With this in mind, lessons will be conducted mostly in English but if required I do speak Portuguese so we can switch backwards and forwards, depending on each student's needs.

The hourly rate of my classes reflects the time that I take to prepare for, and travel to, each of my students. I create original material regularly for lessons and take care to tailor each lesson perfectly to each student.
If you want to purchase a block of lessons, I will consider discount on a case by case basis, so please get in contact if you want to consider this.
