Sobre Ellinor
My name is Ellinor, and I grew up in Paris, where I spent my childhood and teenage years drawing all I could see. Early drawing and painting classes at the Musee Carnavalet gave me a good start, but my real education came from the hours I spent practicing my craft with my art books or the afternoons spent museums of Paris. I taught myself anatomy, perspective, and light because I realized those fundamentals are the key to set my creativity free.
About a year and a half ago, I decided to leave the noise behind and make this craft my full-time life. Today, I split my time between the Silver Coast and Lisbon, where I travel every week to keep my practice grounded.
When I teach, I’m not looking for "perfect" art; I’m looking to help you build a solid skeleton for your ideas. Whether we’re sketching rapidly in a notebook or working on a more complex painting, the goal is always the same: to master the craft so you can finally trust your own hands.

I’m Ellinor, a Paris-born artist now painting and teaching between the Lisbon area and Peniche. I believe that artistic freedom doesn't come from luck, it comes from solid foundations. My goal is to give you the technical "blueprint" you need so you can eventually stop worrying about the rules and start expressing your true vision.
In my classes, we move past "just drawing" and dive into the three pillars of a strong artwork:
Anatomy: We will work together to understand the human body, breaking it down into simple volumes and structural landmarks so your figures feel grounded and alive.
Perspective: I’ll teach you how to build a world on paper, ensuring your environments have depth, scale, and a sense of reality.
Values and light: We’ll learn how to use light and shadow to create a 3D feel in both drawing and painting.
I don't believe in "perfect" art, but I do believe in intentional art. We slow down, we focus on the craft, and we build your skills. The focus remains on the fundamentals as I believe once you master the base, you can paint anything.
