Sobre Marina
My name is Marina and I am a teacher, a mother, a traveller, a nature lover, passionate about books, music, art and cultural diversity. I have studied Sociology at the University of
Coimbra, hold a degree in Pedagogy from an international school, in Denmark, and I’m finalising a Master’s in Education (specialising in Language Didactics), at the University of Aveiro.
I have lived abroad for more than ten years, and travelled to more than 30 different countries (from the poorest to the richest). These experiences have shown me that learning a
language is not just about grammar or vocabulary: it is about belonging. Language is the key to navigating everyday life, from handling bureaucracy and accessing local services
like schools or hospitals, to truly understanding the
culture and feeling at home. My mission is to make that journey smoother for you. From day one, I’ll help you build the practical
Portuguese skills you need to connect, integrate, and enjoy life in Portugal with confidence - and maybe even with a smile.

Your journey starts with a free diagnostic test and first lesson, so we can get to know each other and plan the best path for you. I meet you exactly where you are, using your interests to make learning enjoyable and relevant.
My approach is rooted in real communication from day one. Lessons are student-centred, using a variety of digital
resources to make learning dynamic and effective.
I combine “love and demand”: I’m patient with your pace and context, but I also expect steady progress. Every 10 lessons, I’ll
provide you with a personalised progress report, so you can see exactly how far you’ve come.
