Sobre Sofia
Olá!
I am Sofia, a portuguese girl who discovered from an early age her passion for travelling and languages. I speak portuguese (mother-tongue), english, italian and developing at the moment my french and spanish skills.
Currently studying Journalism in Lisbon, I have a vast experience with the portuguese grammar, vocabulary, oral and written expression. I got an excellence mark on the Portuguese National Exam and I am the winner of the Cascais Creative Writing Contest 2023 (in portuguese). I also have a travel blog where I post articles frequently: "À Descoberta Pelo Mundo".
I am a creative and determined person, always ready to learn and adapt. As a non-formal educator in the area of writing and storytelling, I have experience in facilitating international projects and in learning methodologies that apply to different cultures.
For me, teaching is a path of mutual learning, constant discovery, and meaningful connection. I am fully committed to providing a stimulating, positive, and inclusive learning environment where you feel completely comfortable exploring and making mistakes.

Perfeito! Sofia is a very good portuguese teacher! I like her method, the grammar teaching is very organised. For instances, she is very good at discovering patterns in the language, and these patterns are very useful for me to remember and learn. Sofia is also very flexible, I enjoy the classes with her very much!
