Learn portuguese in lisbon with a brazilian accent: easier and more fun!

I met Fernanda whilst she was teaching another student. Her style of teaching attracted me. Now over a year later she has taken me from minimal Portuguese to being able to communicate pretty well. She provides a method that is easy to follow and makes the classes enjoyable. i am weak in respect to grammar so she initiated emphasis on verbal communication and then later worked in the grammar aspect. I recommend Fernanda to anyone who wants to learn Portuguese.

Fernanda is an excellent Portuguese teacher. She is patient and thoughtful. I really appreciate that our lessons are so practical. They help me to get better at things I need to do in my life here in Portugal. For example, before I needed to rent a car and drive by myself - we talked about vocabulary and words related to renting cars and driving. When I get important emails in Portuguese from companies, we use those as a lesson. This helps me to learn more words but also what actions I need to take. We talk about real life situations and practice words and phrases that I will actually need to be able to say and understand when I hear them.

Fernanda has a lot of insight about living in Portugal and she always shares helpful and practical tips. She can share insights about European and Brazilian Portuguese which I find really interesting and also helpful as there are many Brazilian Portuguese speakers here as well.

I really appreciate working with Fernanda and know that she has helped me to improve on my Portuguese language journey. Obrigada Fernanda!!

Conheci a Fernanda por acaso num concerto de rua em Lisboa quando ainda não era uma cidade turística! E desde então somos amigas pelo que tenho acompanhado o seu percurso como professora de português para estrangeiros. A Fernanda é super inspiradora, muito empenhada e preocupada com os seus alunos, atenciosa ao detalhe e a querer dar o seu melhor sobretudo em ter e dar um bom momento ao si e aos seus alunos.
Se eu tivesse que aprender português gostaria de a ter como professora :)

Learning with Fernanda was amazing as not only did she teach very well grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation, she also gave me a great overview of cultural topics on Portugal and Brazil, and tips about life in Lisbon. She's very accurate and resourceful and fun to be with. I'd recommend her classes to anyone who wants to learn real daily Portuguese language and culture, and get insights on local life.
