Hello! My name is Poli Alves, and I am a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker with a lifelong passion for languages and teaching.
I have been studying foreign languages since I was a teenager, which has given me a deep understanding of both the challenges and the joys of learning a new language. This personal experience helps me support my students effectively and adapt my teaching methods to their individual needs.
Since 2019, I have been working as a language teacher, helping students from different backgrounds achieve their language goals. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught Portuguese, English, Italian, and French, gaining valuable experience with learners of different ages, levels, and learning styles.
I believe that language learning should be engaging, practical, and enjoyable. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel confident to communicate, make mistakes, and progress naturally.
As someone who has learned several languages myself, I understand the learning process from both the teacher's and the student's perspective. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to improve your skills, I am here to guide you on your language-learning journey.
