Sobre Gianna
Hi! My name is Gianna and I am a piano teacher from the United States. I have been playing piano for about 17 years (for context: I am 24), everything from classical piano to rock bands to songwriting. I love music, and even chose Music Business as a minor in University in Nashville, TN ("Music City"). I have been teaching for a few years and have really enjoyed the time spent with my students. I have seen 5 year olds play nursery rhymes and 13 year olds play Beethoven! I also worked as a behavioral therapist for kids with autism in Tennessee. Here gives me my specialty: which is working with neurodivergent children! I have a bachelor's in psychology and am a registered Behavioral Therapist in the United States and have worked with kids on the spectrum for about a year. Overall, I love teaching and music! I love connecting with my students and helping them reach their goals!

Typically, my lesson are tailored towards the goals of the student. For music, I want the student to feel like they are achieving what they want to be achieving. For piano, I can teach beginners and intermediates.
What sets me apart is that I am passionate about education but also passionate about connection. I am making sure every lesson and every session is at the speed that the student can handle. I've had students who have had bad days who needed a day of sing along to the Beatles! I have also had days with students where we barely touch the piano as we are talking about written theory. It is based on the goals of the student and their ability: both on the piano and emotionally.
