Sobre Mariana
I have been working as a professional language teacher since even before graduating from University. It is something I am very passionate about.
I completed my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification in 2017 and began teaching ESL in Ecuador, China and Spain.
I wanted to share my mother tongue so I started teaching portuguese for a company in Taiwan in 2021. Now, I teach several students privately who mostly want to adapt to life in Portugal and fit in with portuguese culture.
I love portuguese history and popular culture, so that is a topic I am always willing to add into our lessons!

Todos os idiomas falados na aula :
Português
Lessons start with a short informal conversation, followed by a recap of the previous lesson.
Next we learn new words or grammar structures and practice them together. Before the end, I like to do a quick summary and review of what we covered.
Homework will be set after each class if you want extra practice and will be reviewed in the next lesson.
These lessons are ideal for those who want to improve their portuguese communication.
More relaxed conversational classes are also available, as well as CIPLE A2 exam preparation (Portuguese Language Exam required for Portuguese Nationality).
Textbooks and worksheets are often used as a support.
