Sobre Elena
My lessons are tailored to the students needs. I teach students the 4 language skills as well as prepare a specific lessons if they require. For instance this could be a debate, a writing exercise, a lesson about English culture, or any other topic the student wants to know more about. I just need to know in advance what they want to cover so that I can prepare my lesson accordingly. Homeworks are tailored too depending on the students, I also like to assign projects as I think are a more fun way to learn and engage them. I adapt to the student learning pace and set the right standards for them. I expect them to do the homework and work in order to see improvements. I use a communicative approach so my students practice speaking as much as possible in order to prepare them for any real situation.

Hi my name is Elena! I was born in Italy and lived there until I was 19 years old. I then moved to England where I could learn English, work and study at university. Hence I do appreciate and consider important the acquisition of a new language!
I worked in the USA, Spain and Mexico, where I taught English and lived for 1.5 years. I speak Italian, Spanish and English... I understand what you age to go through to learn a language ;)
I now live in Portugal and I am starting a new life here
