I assure professionalism in my tennis coaching practise backed by my scientific background, coach certificate and tennis experience since age 5.
I can guarantee my full commitment and presence of mind. I have established for myself a daily limit of no more than 4 hours on court, which guarantees that I am energized and able to hit and often even play points with my students.

My coaching approach to tennis is scientific yet pragmatic. One needs to be realistic and set challenging yet achievable progressive goals. With this in mind I strongly advise my students to work in packages, where each package entails a well-defined and often short set of goals which then render different lesson contents. Examples of those could be:
- ground stroke consistency or power improvements
- serve technique
- volley initiation
- footwork for attacking the net
- intermediate tactics for doubles
Hence, the first session is an assessment of the student, suggesting and discussing the most critical points of his/her game that need improvement, after which I will design a program with an estimate duration in order to address those elements. A program typically comprises one package with a duration of 4 to 8 lessons, although there is obviously some flexibility and adaptability depending on progress. The idea behind this short time frame is to transfer responsibility and a healthy sense of urgency with the task at hand, by having a deadline after which the competency of the student is reassessed.
For those simply looking after some tips and overall assessment, a one-time session is also possible.
My tennis lessons are aimed at all levels, from complete beginners to high-level competitive players.
Besides my passion for tennis, I am also a fitness and exercise enthusiast, being a calisthenics and explosive training practitioner myself. This allows me to design workouts tailored to the needs of the tennis player, whether to improve agility and power or to simply keep the body balanced and injury-free.
Last but not least, tennis is meant to be fun and an enjoyable form of exercise, so expect some banter mixed with some high intensity periods!

Perfeito! Antonio helped me book the court at Monsta to, and we did a lesson that was completely enjoyable. He gave me tips on switching from a one handed to two handed backhand (closer to the body), as well as tips for overhead, shorter takeback on my forehand. We practiced on clay, which was very satisfying. A great coach and student of the game.
