Sobre Hannah
Hi there! My name is Hannah and I'm originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. I'm an avid traveler who has visited around 40 countries. After graduating from university, I moved to Sofia, Bulgaria and spent 7 years there working as an English teacher. After a two-year stint at a primary school in Spain, I moved to Portugal in 2023 and have decided to make this country my permanent home. In my spare time, I enjoy taking yoga and Irish dance classes, as well as reading books and going to the park with Pizza, my Pembroke Welsh corgi.

I have twelve years of teaching experience and two teaching certifications: Trinity certTESOL and International House Certificate in Teaching Young Learners and Teenagers (IHCYLT). Additionally, I have passed the first module of the DELTA and am in the process of completing the other two modules.
I have taught a wide range of courses to students of all levels, including: general English, conversation classes, Cambridge exam preparatory courses, and personalized lessons for private students.
Many of the classes I have taught were coursebook-based, but I have also created entire curricula using a variety of materials, such as TED talks, Kahoot games, and activities I designed myself. I am well-regarded by my students, some of whom have attended my courses for five years or more.
