What I do is basically make conversation about things that might interest the student. IE if the student is into geopolitics then we'll read an article or watch something and then have an in depth discussion. Same goes for any subject such as food, fashion, cinema, TV, football, and whatever article might provoke a good conversation. During the conversation I will help with pronounciation and do mini grammar sessions when needed.
