Sobre Diogo
I'm a 36 year old photographer from the city of Porto, Portugal. I have a degree in Professional Photography Taken at the Portuguese Photography Institute and other degree of Audiovisual Communications.
I work in the area of Photojournalism and documentary photography also passing through commercial areas such as weddings, architecture, events and personal projects. Developed his studies, initially, in the area of Graphic Design and Digital Graphic Production and, later, in Photography and Audiovisual Communication.
Currently, Freelancer Photographer since 2011 collaborating with agencies and media organs such as LUSA, NFactos, Público, Correio da Manhã and Global News, Corbis Images (UK), which has allowed him several international publications and has published internationally in The Guardian (UK); Daily Mail (UK); Rolling Stone (USA); CBS (USA); Irish Mirror (IE); Duluth News Tribune (USA) among others.
Collaborated in the Documentary "Contratempo" carried out under the project of ESMAD and the Gulbenkian Foundation and also in the documentary produced by the short festival of Vila do Conde - "Naufragos" - and carried out by Pedro Neves.
In 2014 distinguished by the Division of Cultural Promotion of Barreiro as Young Revelation within the scope of the Photo Month contest.
