Oi! Hey!
I'm Laís, a Brazilian Portuguese teacher and tech student from Salvador, one of the most culturally rich cities in Brazil.
I'm really passionate about languages, books and human connection. That passion led me to teaching, and it hasn't left the classroom since. If I'm not studying or teaching, you'll probably find me reading or exploring something new. I believe that curiosity is something that I should also bring into the classroom.
I'd love to help you not just speak Portuguese, but truly feel at home in it. :)

All my classes are built around what matters the most: everyday vocabulary, real conversations and the cultural context that makes Brazilian Portuguese come alive. You'll learn grammar as a tool, not a rule, always applied to real situations you'll actually face.
Before we dive in, we'll talk about you. I'll take time to understand your level, your learning style and goals. From there, I'll create personalized materials and work at a pace that will be helpful for you, whether you're a complete beginner or already have some knowledge.
By the end of each class, you won't just speak Portuguese. You'll understand the Brazilian way of living and seeing the world.
