Sobre Fátima
My name is Fátima, I am 28 years old, and I am a native Portuguese speaker, born and raised in Portugal. I have been working full-time as a tutor for international students for over six years and, at the same time, I have also been working as a translator and language service provider for about nine years. I am also the author of the children's book “Joãozinho’s Childhood in Portugal”, focused on helping children and young people learn Portuguese.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Foreign Languages and Cultures from the School of Education of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto and I am currently completing a Master’s degree in Translation and Language Services at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto.
When I think about my interests, the first word that comes to mind is “creativity.” I am interested in writing, drawing, crafts, reading, and learning about new topics.

I currently specialize in creating group lessons (for now, with a maximum of 10 students per group) adapted to the goals, needs, and preferences of my students. Although the structure may be changed, my lessons usually focus on:
- teaching vocabulary and grammar rules
- conversation practice
- reading and writing texts
- pronunciation training
- developing listening comprehension in Portuguese
Whether you are a beginner, intermediate, or advanced speaker, my lessons provide dynamic and diverse information, exercises, and support materials, including textbooks, reading books, worksheets, audio recordings, videos, and more.
