Hello!
I'm a native European Portuguese speaker with a degree in Portuguese and Lusophone Studies. I also speak English fluently and have lived and worked in England, so I'm comfortable communicating with students from different backgrounds.
I have a strong academic background in Portuguese and around 15 years of professional experience working with people, communication and customer service.
I'm friendly, patient and practical, and I enjoy helping people feel more confident when communicating. I believe learning a language should be useful, relaxed and connected to real life.
Whether you're a complete beginner or already know some Portuguese, I'm happy to adapt the lessons to your level and goals.

My classes are designed for people who want to learn European Portuguese in a practical, relaxed and easy-to-understand way.
Whether you are starting from zero, living in Portugal, planning to move here, or simply want to feel more confident speaking Portuguese, I will adapt the lessons to your level and goals.
In our classes, we can work on:
• Everyday Portuguese and useful vocabulary
• Speaking and conversation
• Pronunciation
• Grammar explained in a simple way
• Reading and writing
• Real-life situations such as ordering at a café, shopping, making appointments or talking to people in Portugal
• Portuguese culture and expressions
For complete beginners, we will start with the basics and gradually build your confidence. I can also explain grammar and vocabulary in English whenever necessary, so you never feel lost.
My goal is not just for you to study Portuguese, but to actually feel comfortable using it in everyday life.
Classes are available online and, depending on location, in person in the Caldas da Rainha area.
No previous Portuguese knowledge is required — beginners are very welcome!
