Sobre Lorenzo
My name is Lorenzo, and I'm 21 years old! I live in Brazil, São Paulo state.
I'm graduating in "Letras" (a course here in Brazil focused on Linguistics and Literature), both in Portuguese and English. Also, I'm about to start a master degree in British Poetry.
I started learning English since my High School times, and my time in College helped me. Although I'm not a native level English speaker-writer, I can almost perfectly understand English conversations and writings. My Portuguese native level goes beyond the "typical level", for I write fiction works (although my best and favorite kind of writing is poetry).
In the end, I'm just an ordinary young man. I love to listen to rock music, to play video games, to play guitar, to watch horror movies and animated series, etc. So, I guess we'll have a lot to talk and interact! :D

All the clauses will work with the following topics:
a) CONVERSATION - Listening and speaking are important while learning a new language, so we'll always talk to each other (specially in Portuguese, according to the classes level). Don't worry, I'll not force you to talk, only encourage you through the whole process. The same with the listening, for if you have any problem to understand me, I'll help you in the best way possible!
b) CULTURE - No language survives when separated from its culture. Therefore, I'll teach you many cultural references regarding the Portuguese language - since its history and presence nowadays, to its incredible literature and artistic manifestation. Don't worry, we'll see all of this in an organic way - after all, culture and language are inseparable!
c) GRAMMAR - For last but not least, we'll discuss, in the most complete way possible, aspects about the Portuguese grammar, which has very distinguished differences when compared to English (verbs conjugation, for instance). Don't worry, I'll go through this part without rushing, to give you time to fully understand everything!
- ABOUT THE CONTENT
The material used for the classes will be prepared by myself, using other materials, handouts, and books. I'll also share with you all of these materials, for helping you in any way possible. Along with this, we'll also have exercises, focused on all the three topics above. Don't worry, it's only for me to know how you're understanding the classes - and for you too, also.
- ABOUT THE NUMBER OF CLASSES AND THE LEVEL EXPECTED
The number of classes will depend on your demands (but their duration will be 1h30 each) - your experience with the Portuguese and your goals will determine that. If you know nothing about Portuguese and want to learn for hobby, I can help you. Of, if you want to learn as a complementation for some course you're into, I can help, also. If you have a little familiarity with the language, and want to expand this, I can help!
Situations in which I can't teach you, unfortunately: 1) If you don't speak English (it's the only foreign language I understand at an acceptable level); 2) If you want to learn a very specific topic in Portuguese (like, for example, in a legal level), for I don't have this kind of knowledge; 3) If you want a fast teaching (like just for some days), for I don't feel confident in my teaching for that (I feel you will only waste your money).
Otherwise, feel free to contact me, and propose your ideas - I'm open for them! :)
- ABOUT THE PRICE, THE TEACHING PLACE, AND THE SCHEDULE
I'll charge a very cheap price (as the title said), since I want to teach you in an accessible way. Also, for that, I'll let you choose a schedule from Monday to Saturday (morning, afternoon, evening). All the classes will occur in Google Meet (it will be good if you have a webcam, but it's okay if not). I'll also use Google Classroom to post the materials for you, along with other kind of interesting topics (videos, songs, books, etc).
