Hello! I'm Karina, a Brazilian Portuguese teacher with 10 years of teaching experience, including 5 years using a bilingual approach. I have a bachelor's degree in Education, a postgraduate degree in English Language, and a specialization in conversation strategies—which helps me teach Portuguese effectively to English speakers.
My teaching method is focused on beginners of all ages—children, teens, adults, and seniors. I believe language learning should be natural, light, and enjoyable, while still being goal-oriented and effective.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to travel internationally and use my language skills in real-life situations. These experiences have deeply influenced my teaching style, allowing me to bring not only grammar and vocabulary but also the cultural and practical aspects of Portuguese into every lesson.
