Sobre Endy
I am a Brazilian, certified native Portuguese and English teacher, and I have been living in Portugal for 8 years. I am married to a French-Canadian and a mother of two children who are facing the challenge of being educated in a foreign country with a language different from what we speak at home. This personal experience has given me a deep understanding of the challenges and needs of expats and their families, especially when it comes to adapting to a new language and culture.
I have experience teaching Portuguese to students from various nationalities, including English, Danish, Canadian, North American, and Dutch. Additionally, I enjoy studying and practicing English, Spanish, and French for both personal enjoyment and professional development. This not only enhances my ability to support my students’ language learning but also helps me achieve my personal goal of becoming multilingual.
With my background and experience in both Brazil and Portugal, I strive to offer personalized, effective teaching that facilitates the integration and learning process of my students.

The goal of my lessons is to meet the unique needs and expectations of each student. For expat parents, one of the biggest challenges is seeing their children struggle with education in a language they don’t fully master. My lessons are designed to ease this transition, helping both parents and children communicate effectively with locals, and feel integrated into the country they’ve chosen to live in—whether for work or socializing. My classes offer an immersive experience, focusing not only on the Portuguese language but also on the culture and habits of the country. Grammar, writing, listening, pronunciation, and speaking skills are all included, of course!
