Sobre Thayane
Hi! I'm Thayane, a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker, and I'm passionate about languages, communication, and helping people feel more confident when using a new language.
I have a degree in Languages (English) and several years of experience teaching languages, as well as training and developing people. Over the years, I've learned that every student has their own way of learning, and I really enjoy adapting my lessons to make them feel comfortable, supported, and motivated.
For me, learning a language is not only about knowing the right words or grammar rules. It's also about feeling comfortable enough to use what you know, make mistakes, ask questions, and gradually become more confident.
I love getting to know my students, understanding their goals and interests, and seeing their progress over time. Whether you want to learn Portuguese for travel, everyday conversations, Brazilian culture, or simply to communicate more naturally, I'll be happy to help you along the way. ️
I look forward to meeting you and sharing a little bit of Brazilian Portuguese and culture with you!

My lessons are personalized to your goals, level, interests, and everyday needs. I believe learning Portuguese should be practical, meaningful, and connected to real-life communication.
For beginners, we start with essential vocabulary, useful expressions, pronunciation, and simple conversations, always at a comfortable pace. For students with previous experience, we can focus more on conversation, fluency, vocabulary, listening comprehension, and the situations you are most likely to encounter in real life.
During our lessons, I use practical activities, guided conversations, examples, and real-world situations to help you understand and use Brazilian Portuguese naturally. I also adapt the content as we progress, so we can focus on what you need most and keep building on what you have already learned.
My goal is to create a relaxed and welcoming environment where you can practice without being afraid of making mistakes. Whether you want to travel around Brazil, communicate with Brazilian friends or family, understand Brazilian culture, or simply feel more confident speaking Portuguese, we can build your learning path together.
My lessons are suitable for adult learners and students aged 17+, from complete beginners to those who already have some knowledge of Portuguese.
