Sobre Nícolas
With more than years of teaching experience and a degree in Languages (Letras), I bring a solid academic background together with modern teaching methods. I am also CELTA-certified (Cambridge), which means I apply internationally recognized techniques to keep lessons interactive, student-centered, and effective.
Language has always been more than just grammar to me. I’ve co-founded a literature group, reflected deeply on how language works, and I genuinely enjoy helping students understand not only what to say, but why we say it that way.
I’m patient, approachable, and organized. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable enough to speak freely, make mistakes, and ask questions without pressure.
My goal is simple: to make Brazilian Portuguese understandable, usable, and meaningful for you.

I offer personalized 1-hour Portuguese lessons via Google Meet, designed especially for foreigners who want to communicate confidently in real-life situations or succeed in exams like CELPE-Bras.
My lessons are structured, dynamic, and engaging. I combine real-life scenarios, memes, and a variety of authentic texts to make learning natural and meaningful — even grammar becomes intuitive and enjoyable.
I use active methodologies that encourage you to actually use the language from day one. All four skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing) are developed through guided practice, practical activities, and even games to help you retain key concepts in a natural and fun way.
With around 60 hours of lessons, students are typically able to handle everyday situations while traveling or significantly improve their CELPE-Bras performance.
