Sobre Joana
I hold the Cambridge International General Certificate of Education diploma: Advanced Level- IGCSE program and AS & A Level program. I have completed my bachelor's degree in Political Science and International Relations (Portuguese Catholic University). I am currently studying for a master's degree in Business Administration (ISCTE Business School).
Moreover, I have 5 years of experience in verbal and written translations from English/Portuguese and Portuguese/English. I provide translation services in the business intermediation field, as a part-time job.
I really enjoy teaching and helping my students, whether it's starting from the ground up or deepening their knowledge of the language. I believe that it is especially crucial nowadays to master the English language in order to keep up with the growth of globalization.

I have 2 years of experience giving English and Portuguese tutoring lessons to beginners and intermediates. I am excellent at motivating students to have an interest and love for the English and Portuguese language. I am very patient and tolerant with younger students. I always try to keep the lessons dynamic and encourage a few minutes of conversation in the language in which the student enrolled for, to stimulate curiosity and quick learning.
I provide support with homework, test/exam preparation, and oral and written presentations.
