Hey!
My name is David, I'm 23 years old and currently studying Comunication Sciences at Nova University here in Lisbon. I am originally from Stuttgart, which is where I grew up, finished high school and worked for 2 years. Afterwards, I moved to Madrid, where I started my Bachelor's degree before coming here to Lisbon in order to stay here for a year in order to keep on studying.
I am an experienced teacher who gave classes to all different levels and ages, as well as both private and group classes. German is a language that at the beginning might be confusing due to elements that other languages like English or Portuguese don't have or due to its main structure: but once you understand how things work, you'll be able to notice that it is actually a very consistent language that makes sense.
My main goal here is not to make you study rules by heart, but to make you understand these rules and be able to know why they exist and make totally sense. This is going to make learning much easier, not only for the moment, but also for higher levels where basic rules will appear over and over again. But don't be afraid: learning is not only about reading texts and learning grammar, I will always make sure we have a comfortable atmosphere and variety during the process by introducing different types of exercises and trainings and include for example videos or music.

I generally follow the structure of books for German-Learners, although I always like to anticipate content in order to show the whole picture and make understanding easier. Apart from that, I use videos or music exercises and foster conversation from the very beginning.
