Sobre Matilde
Hi! I’m Matilde, I’m 19 years old, and I’m a student currently starting my college degree in Primary Education.
I have always had a strong interest in English and have always felt particularly confident in grammar, speaking, and reading comprehension. I enjoy learning languages and, even more, helping others feel more confident when using them.
I have 8 months of experience working as a school monitor, where I had the opportunity to work closely with children in a school environment. This experience taught me a lot about patience, communication, responsibility, and the importance of adapting to each child’s personality and individual needs.
I would describe myself as a friendly, patient, responsible, and motivated person. I believe that learning is much easier when students feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to make mistakes and learn from them.
As I am pursuing a career in education, teaching is something I genuinely enjoy and see as an important part of my future. I hope to create a positive learning experience where students can improve their English while also becoming more confident and independent learners.

My English lessons are designed to be engaging, clear, and adapted to each student’s level, needs, and learning goals. My main goal is to create a positive and relaxed environment where students feel comfortable participating, asking questions, and learning at their own pace.
Before starting the lessons, I like to understand the student’s main difficulties and objectives so that I can adapt the classes accordingly and focus on the areas that need the most attention.
Lessons can include grammar explanations and practice, vocabulary, reading and text comprehension, listening comprehension, pronunciation, and speaking. I can also provide support with homework, school assignments, and preparation for tests and exams.
I place great importance on active practice and student participation rather than relying solely on memorisation. I believe that understanding the content and being able to use it in practice are essential for developing both English skills and confidence.
My 8 months of experience working as a school monitor have allowed me to develop valuable skills in working with children, including patience, communication, responsibility, and adapting to different learning needs and abilities. I am also starting my college degree in Primary Education, which reflects my strong interest in education and working with children.
My lessons are mainly aimed at children and young students who want to improve their English, strengthen their school knowledge, or overcome difficulties in the subject. Each lesson is personalised according to the student’s age, level, and individual goals.
