Hello! My name is Noel Swords. I'm a native speaker of English, and I come from Dublin, Ireland. I have 22 years' experience and 100+ written recommendations from my past students. I lived in Brasil for eight years and I speak Portuguese, but lessons are in English.
With my experience and your enthusiasm for learning English, we can improve your confidence in speaking English. Your overall abilities in daily conversation and workplace communication will greatly improve, and you'll notice that improvement.

Reading
We read at the beginning of every lesson. We focus on pronunciation but also on identifying important words and expressions in the text. Your reading skills will greatly improve as a result of this training: you'll see so much more in everything you read.
Speaking
We spend most of our time speaking in the lessons, and I correct all mistakes: pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, etc. I give my students feedback at the end of every lesson. But correcting mistakes and giving feedback are not enough. I also teach my students skills and they become more independent students. The more skills you have, the less you need me.
My Method
I use the modern communicative approach, meaning that English is taught and learnt by means of reading, writing, speaking, listening, and revising. I teach spoken English. I focus on intensive conversation practice. I don’t teach business English, legal English, or exam lessons.
I don’t teach older methods: audio-lingual, grammar-translation.

Your First Free Lesson
The first free lesson is in fact a free online consultation which can last anything from fifteen to thirty minutes, depending on the number of questions the student asks. The free consultation is in English. I will explain my lessons and answer your questions.
My Working hours
Monday to Saturday: 9 am, 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm, 4 pm. Monday to Thursday: 7 pm, 8 pm. I’m Irish. I’m from Ireland but I live in Italy. Now you can use the internet to check the time difference between Italy and the country where you live, and then you can try to find a time for your lessons that works with my working hours.
