Sobre Poliana
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Languages from Universidade Estadual do Piauí, Brazil, and bring a strong background in English language instruction across a variety of contexts, including private language institutes and a public university.
Throughout my career, I have developed and delivered lessons tailored to diverse learner profiles and proficiency levels, provided academic support, and translated official documents. These experiences have equipped me with a versatile teaching style, a solid grasp of pedagogical strategies, and a deep understanding of student needs. In the upcoming semester, I will begin the CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) course, accredited by the University of Cambridge. I believe this internationally recognized qualification will further enhance my methodological skills and instructional expertise.
As a native Portuguese speaker fluent in English, with working knowledge of Spanish, French, and Italian, I deeply value the power of language as a bridge for cultural connection. I am particularly interested in roles that integrate language education with intercultural communication.
