Sobre Maria
I am a native Portuguese teacher with 18 years of experience in teaching, particularly in the field of dance. I have a diverse professional background, having worked as a tour guide in the tourism industry since 2011. I lived and worked in London for 10 years, where I gained valuable experience as a receptionist and back-office manager at 5-star hotels.
In addition to my teaching career, I am a fully trained actress, dancer, and singer since 2009, and I have been teaching since 2006. I have taught arts at a public elementary school, and at dance academies. I also directed dance groups and actors. Furthermore, I have led a recreational historic entertainment group, combining my passion for the arts with my extensive teaching experience.
I offer dynamic and personalised Portuguese lessons for foreigners who wish to learn the language in an effective and engaging way. My methodology blends communicative practices with cultural elements, providing a rich and comprehensive learning experience. Lessons are available both in-person and online, tailored to all levels and needs.
