Sobre Gonçalo
My name is Gonçalo and chess has been part of my daily life for many years. I play regularly and have a 2000 rating on Chess.com, which gives me a solid and practical understanding of the game.
I teach chess because I genuinely enjoy it. I especially like working with children and introducing them to chess in a clear, calm and positive way. My focus is not on pressure or competition, but on helping children understand the game, think independently and enjoy learning.
I am patient, organized and reliable. Each lesson is adapted to the child’s age, level and pace, creating a safe and motivating environment where learning feels natural and enjoyable.
I teach beginner and intermediate children, in English or Portuguese, through 100% in-person lessons, either individually or in small groups.
If you are looking for a chess teacher who is approachable, serious about teaching and truly passionate about the game, I would be happy to help.
