Sobre Susana

I have been teaching ESL for several years and have begun teaching Portuguese as a Second Language in the last year at the request of a friend who is learning Portuguese. I am currently helping several local students in their journey to learn Portuguese. I am also currently completing a certification for teaching Portuguese as a Second Language at the Universidade de Coimbra.

Sobre a aula

My classes will be tailored to your needs, whether that be following a manual or a more fluid approach. I use several online resources, such as YouTube and Quizlet to help my students. My accent is fairly neutral, although I do live in the Azores and can help you with local vocabulary and idiosyncrasies. I will also teach you about the culture.

I'm certified to teach Portuguese as a second language and also speak English fluently so can help you make the transition to speaking Portuguese.
