Welcome!
My name is Ms. Simmons and I absolutely love Chemistry. I've taught Chemistry in multiple countries including the USA and China. I have experience teaching students from a variety of nationalities and levels of understanding.
My lessons are tailored to the student's learning needs and style. My goal is not only to help students learn Chemistry, but to also find enjoyment in learning. I have a wide range resources, so we can find which resources work best with the student's learning style.
I am very patient, but goal driven as well. Together we will set learning goals and I will consistently encourage students to reach their goals.

I specialize in IB DP Chemistry for international students.
Classes are taught online for 1-2 hours through Skype or Zoom. I email students resources and topics before each lesson. I personalize lessons based on the student's learning style and level of understanding. I incorporate a variety of approaches to learning to develop study techniques that work best for each student.
I have wide range of resources including practice problems, online virtual labs, quizlets, learning target summaries, and more.
I provide feedback on experimental work for the internal assessment and extended essay.
I have a Bachelors of Science degree from Texas, USA. I'm a certified IB teacher and have been teaching IB DP Chemistry for 6 years.
