Olá, tudo bom?
My name is Juliana. I’m from Curitiba, but I currently live in Florianópolis. I’ve been working as a tutor for over four years, and teaching has been my main and only job during this time.
I love learning new languages and exploring their nuances and funny quirks, but I especially love talking about my native language, Brazilian Portuguese. I enjoy helping people discover the language and understand how it works and the culture behind it.
My main interests are food, travel, and fitness, but I’m always curious and interested in learning about new things.

In my classes, I mainly use a textbook, but each lesson is personalized and tailored to the individual student. This means that while we follow a structured plan, the pace and content of each class are adapted to your needs and interests. We can discuss different topics, talk about your hobbies, and focus on the areas where you need the most practice.
I recommend taking at least two to three classes per week. This allows us to work on speaking, listening, reading, and writing while also having enough time to review homework, identify areas for improvement, and plan what we should focus on next.
