Hello, I am American born and raised, 64 years old, and have been involved in instructing English for 14 years. I have a 120 hour TEFL/TESOL certification, a Diplomado en Docencia Universitaria from Politecnico Superior de Colombia and a degree in Business Administration from Harris University. For four years I gave in-home English classes, then for three years I was the head of the English department in a private school in Colombia, and for the last seven years I have been giving on-line English classes on a different platform. During my free time I am a television actor in Colombia and I enjoy writing. I have written two feature length movie scripts (not produced) and I am writing my first novel.
Regarding Eglish instruction, if you are an intermediate level or higher English student and want to take your English to the next level, I would appreciate a chance to help you achieve your goals. When your start out learning English you learn one definition of a word, when you reach an upper intermediate or advanced level of English you have learned five, seven or maybe even ten different definitions of one word. Take the word FILE for example. How many different definitions of that word do you know? Off the top of my head I can think of seven different definitions. That is the difference between being conversational in English, and being fluent, your knowledge of English.
I also will correct your pronunciation in subtle ways that many English tutors and teachers arent even aware of. Simple pronunciation errors that will take you from not being understood to sounding more like a native.
