Sobre Dress
I started teaching Portuguese which is my native language, on Preply, about 1 year ago. I got into this business because I have always been fascinated by great teachers I encountered and also, to be fair, the ones I came upon in movies as well. Also, I have been working in an English speaking environment for 5 years.

I hate monotony and formal structured lessons that do not consider the students interests, curiosity and what they love. Usually I try to incorporate games, exercises that include media content, such as songs and videos. My basic strategy is to choose a subject and develop the lesson based on the theme that is of the student's interest. Depending on your level of English we can do more conversational classes as well. But in summary, I think the best way to learn a language is to use dynamic content based on a theme that is part of the student's interest.
