Nicolai Ganichev, 26 y.o, painter and freelance artist.
My artistic practice is formed by various sources - university education in digital graphics and computer science, private and online education in fine art, years of extensive drawing and painting, experiments with different mediums techniques.
I believe that art is a language that helps us convey feelings, emotions, energy and ultimately - to better understand ourselves and the world around us. With both my art and my teaching practice i wish to spark a sence of joy, peace and curiosity.

Individual painting/drawing lessons for people of every age, skill level and life experience.
The lessons cover following subjects:
- basic skills of drawing and painting
- oil paint, gouache/watercolor, acrylic, a range of drawing tools
- composition and color theory
- human figure: anatomy, gesture, portrait
- approaches to keeping a sketchbook
- sources of inspiration
- developing a personal style
- digital tools for pre- and post-production of artworks
- presenting art in social media, content-making
Depending on the personal interest of the student, we can focus more on some subjects and adapt the learning trajectory for a particular goal.
My main principles in teaching are openness, attentiveness and uplifting atmosphere. I believe that the most exciting way to learn and grow is the exchange of creative energy between people passionate about art. So I want my lessons to be a space for that - sharing ideas and discoveries, experimenting, and being surprised by the results we are able to achieve.
