Cambridge CELTA and DELTA qualified
Work experience:
I have over 10 years English language teaching and examining experience. This includes British Council Portugal, Thailand and Oman, as well as for smaller schools in England, China and Vietnam.
I now specialise in teaching IELTS preparation.

Writing
Task 1 package – 100 euros. Task 2 package – 100 euros.
Save 25% by taking both packages over a period of 3 weeks for 150 euros.
Task 1 essay writing package consists of a 3 hour lesson either at your or my home followed by unlimited email support and correction while you write the different types of essay.
In the class you will learn:
1. The different types of essay question.
2. How to write the introduction for each type of essay.
3. How to write a band 7+ overview.
4. How to select what to write about, what details to include and what to leave out.
Task 2 essay writing package consists of a 3 hour lesson either at your or my home followed by unlimited email support and correction while you write the different types of essay.
In the class you will learn:
1. How to answer the question to meet band 7 requirements..
2. How to make writing the essay easier by breaking it down into several small tasks.
3. How to structure your essay and organise your paragraphs to score 7+ for coherence and cohesion.
4. How to use the grammar and vocabulary that you have to the best effect.

Perfeito! With only a couple of classes with Graham I managed to increase my writing test score, in the IELTs academic, from a 6 to a 7!
He taught me the required methodology, gave me plenty of writing examples and offered continuous support throughout the whole preparation period.
I am really glad and thankful I had these classes and would definitely recommend them to anyone taking the exam!

I worked with Graham to improve my IELTS score, specifically in the speaking part of the test. His advice and our lesson helped me improve my score significantly (from 7.5 to 8.5) and he left me feeling confident and clear about how to proceed preparing for the test. Communication and organziation of the lesson was also very smooth.
From my experience, I highly recommend Graham as an English teacher.
